Ava Sullivan

Born and raised in Columbia, South Carolina, Ava Sullivan began her training at the University of South Carolina Dance Conservatory, where she received a full-tuition scholarship. She went on to further her studies at Palmetto Conservatory of Dance, refining both her technique and artistry.

Ava has expanded her training through summer intensives with Boston Ballet, Complexions Contemporary Ballet, and Charlotte Ballet, gaining a diverse range of ballet and contemporary experience. She has performed with Columbia Classical Ballet as a trainee, most notably dancing the role of Clara in The Nutcracker.

Her talent has been recognized at the Universal Ballet Competition, where she placed in both solo and ensemble categories, and she has also participated in the World Ballet Finals. This season marks Ava’s first season as a professional dancer with Palmetto Ballet Theatre.
